Premise
You are someone, somewhere. You have a life. It might have something to do with dinosaurs, but most likely it doesn't. Not yet, anyway.
It all starts with a letter you receive, signed John Hammond, CEO of InGen Corporation. The letter says you won something - you never entered a lottery, but you won anyway. Out of all people on the planet, completely random, you were picked as part of a group to test a new luxury resort they are building in Costa Rica. Apparently they want to appeal to all audiences, which is why they decided to pick people from all countries, of all ages and social standings to test if their park is really fulfilling its goal.
Why a genetics company? Why specifically me? These are questions you might ask yourself, but you decide to go anyway. You have your reasons - maybe you just like free things, maybe you have a hunch you need to confirm, maybe you have business reasons or maybe a relative talked you into it.
When your helicopter takes off to take you to Isla Nublar, what you know is this:
Now you know why it's a genetics company. The park attractions are alive, even though they certainly should not be. You're on the same island as over hundred real living dinosaurs. And you hardly have the time to enjoy the sight of these majestic revived creatures before something goes horribly wrong and dinosaurs are much closer to you than you ever wished for them to be.
It's time for you to follow the basic principle of evolution - adapt or go extinct.

When your helicopter takes off to take you to Isla Nublar, what you know is this:
- You get to stay in a first class hotel on a tropical island for free. It's an arrangement for the duration of three weeks - so you're told in the letter anyway.
- Before anybody else, you're getting to test the newest and hippest amusement park in the world with attractions that will 'simply blow your mind' as the letter states.
- The only thing you need to do is write a review on how you felt during your stay - Were you entertained? Did you have trouble with the staff? Did you miss anything? Did you feel safe?
