For the main comm, action bracket style is the way to go. Of course, there is no limit to how in-depth you are inside your brackets, so it can get close to novel style if you want it to.

In the log community you and whoever you are writing the log with are free to choose whichever style you feel most comfortable with. Action bracket logs are fine as well as prose style logs.
